2018 Great Southern Saunter

I've got my March 2018 Great Southern Saunter trip itinerary.

Starts in Charlotte, NC. We're walking in Knoxville, TN; Nashville, TN; Montgomery, AL; Tallahassee, FL; Savannah, GA; Columbia, SC; Morehead City, NC; Buxton-Cape Hatteras, NC; Ft Monroe, VA; Ocean City, MD; Annapolis, MD; Washington, DC; Charlottesville, VA; Boone, NC; Biltmore Estate, NC.

During the trip we'll see: a museum or two in Montgomery, AL; the SC State Museum Planetarium show; Ocracoke Lighthouse, NC; Wright Bros. Natl. Memorial at Kittyhawk, NC; the Natl. Mall and a museum in DC; Arlington Natl. Cemetery and the Tomb of the Unknowns with changing of the guard; Monticello, VA; and the Biltmore Estate.

I should have the price in a week to 10 days.

Great USA/Canada Northern Trek

Itinerary for Great USA/Canada Northern Trek 25 Jul-5 Aug 2018:


Start near Detroit Metro Airport. Walks at Mackinaw City, MI; Marinette, WI; Two Harbors, MN; Bemidji, MN; Intl Peace Gardens, ND/MB; Moose Mtn. Prov. Park, SK; Winnipeg, MB; Kakabeka Falls Prov. Park, ON; Pukaskwa Natl. Park, ON; Mackinac Island, MI; and Lansing, MI. Four States, 3 Provinces, 2 Capitals.

Sightseeing along the way: Picture Rocks Natl. Lakeshore boat trip; Split Rock Lighthouse, MN; Gooseberry Falls State Park, MN; and Cannington Manor Prov. Historical Park tour as well as all the scenery along the walks and driving through the county side.

Trip is beginning and ending in Aurora (greater Denver), CO

Land tour with walks and sightseeing in four states. We're walking in Cheyenne; WY, Hill City, SD; Custer State Park, SD; Crazy Horse Mtn, SD; Devil's Tower Natl Memorial, WY;  Buffalo, WY; Little Bighorn Battlefield, MT; 3 convention walks and 1 swim in Billings, MT; Red Lodge, MT; Cody, WY; and Longmont, CO.

Cost of trip:

There is a $50 non-refundable deposit due upon registration.
Double occupancy (sharing a room) $1585.
Single occupancy (rooming alone) $2190.

$50 discount for all veterans. Please show proof of veteran status.

Other information:

One half of payment is due by 31 Dec 2016. Balance is due by 28 Mar 2017.
